Our Story

Founded in Boston in 1975, Emack & Bolio’s began as a late-night gathering place for musicians, artists, and ice cream lovers looking for something different. Fueled by creativity, community, and a love of outrageous flavor combinations, the shop quickly became a local legend.

Nearly fifty years later, we’re still serving handcrafted ice cream with the same adventurous spirit, welcoming everyone to pull up a chair, share a scoop, and be part of the story.

Seasons Come Our Way

At Emack & Bolio’s in Latham, ice cream season lasts all year long. From snowy winter nights to warm summer afternoons, our shop is the perfect spot to cozy up with handcrafted ice cream, signature treats, and our famous hot chocolate. Whether you're stopping in, or meeting friends for dessert, there’s always something sweet waiting for you.
